Here in the cafeteria, we have been able to add a hot food option every day for elementary students. We have heard lots of positive feedback from the students! This has allowed us to streamline back into one pre-published menu which should make planning ahead much easier. (Please note that the Kindergarten and 1st grade half-day lunches that are taken home will continue to be the same cold items they have been.)
The USDA has extended the COVID relief program through the end of the school year. This means that all enrolled students can receive breakfast and lunch at no cost. Taking advantage of this program helps us, while helping you, so please don’t hesitate to take advantage of it.
As always, you can stop by and pick up meals any time your child’s classes go remote, and it is never too late to sign up for any of our programs. These programs provide options for all students Pre-Kindergarten through 12th grade to have meals on all days they are not in-person. If you have any questions, please feel free to call (315) 376-9004.
If you would like to receive food for your Lowville School student throughout the summer, South Lewis School is the site that will be providing this for Lewis County. For more information or to make arrangements to participate, please contact Steve Fuller at (315) 348-2543.
We hope everyone has a healthy and happy summer vacation. We appreciate your continued support of our program and look forward to serving you again in the fall.
The Cafeteria Staff appreciates your support.
