Last fall the community voted on a new capital project, titled Protecting Our Future. The project passed by a significant percentage! Throughout the remainder of the 2022-2023 school year, the district worked with our architects and construction management firm along with stakeholder groups within the district to submit a final set of plans to the New York State Education Department.
As with any project, there are usually some changes within the scope of work already defined to fit within the maximum project cost approved by the voters. This is normally due to cost constraints or unknown conditions revealed during discovery work. In order to keep our community up to date on the work we are completing and decisions we are making, we have designed a webpage dedicated to this process.
